Get Started with SalePro
After installation, configure the business, warehouse, users, products, accounts, and taxes before recording live purchases or sales.
SalePro connects purchasing, warehouse stock, sales, customer and supplier balances, payments, accounting, and reports. Set those foundations before entering live transactions.
Recommended setup order#
- Complete the server requirements, install SalePro, and sign in as the owner.
- Configure the business identity, base currency, date/number formats, mail, and document settings.
- Create warehouses and decide which users may operate each warehouse.
- Create roles and grant only the required workflow and module permissions.
- Configure accounts and activate Accounting only after its readiness checks pass.
- Create categories, units, taxes, products, customers, and suppliers.
- Test one purchase, one sale, their payments, and their reports with a demo warehouse.
- Enable optional modules only when their prerequisites and operating limits are understood.
What should happen after a test transaction?#
A purchase should increase stock in its receiving warehouse and update the supplier payable. A completed sale should decrease stock in its sale warehouse and update the customer receivable/payment. With Accounting active and mapped correctly, both should create balanced journals. Verify the Stock Ledger, party due report, and General Ledger before going live.
Before importing real data#
Take a backup, use the current templates, and test with a copy of the data. Do not alter protected updater files or use a production database for experiments. Historical FX, batch, IMEI, and return provenance cannot safely be invented after the fact.
If you need help#
For technical issues, use the SalePro Support guide before opening a ticket so you can include the purchase and error details needed for investigation.
If something is unclear, tell support which guide and section you were following.
