SalePro FAQ and Glossary

Use this quick reference, then follow the linked workflow article for the controlled procedure.

Are Ecommerce and WooCommerce separate paid add-ons?#

No. Their source is bundled with SalePro, but each module is disabled on a fresh package until an administrator enables it. Third-party services and credentials are not included.

Does a stock transfer change company stock or the General Ledger?#

No. It decreases one warehouse and increases another by the same supported quantity. It does not post revenue or a GL entry.

What is landed cost?#

Freight, duty, insurance, clearing, and similar costs allocated to imported purchase lines. SalePro stores the allocation in base-currency FIFO layers.

Can I exchange imported stock?#

Not through the combined exchange workflow. Record a return and a new sale to preserve FIFO provenance.

Is the India GST report a filing service?#

No. It is an operational register and reconciliation tool; foreign-currency statutory presentation is not approved.

What is a payment account?#

The cash, bank, card-clearing, or other account that receives or pays a transaction. It is not merely the button/name of the tender.

What is warehouse isolation?#

Server-enforced restriction that keeps a user’s transactions, stock, and reports within authorized warehouses.

What is a reversal?#

A linked correction that negates the stock, due, payment, tax, or journal effect of a source record before a replacement is applied.

Why can a module be marked enabled but unavailable?#

A module is usable when it is included in your SalePro version, enabled under Settings → Modules / Features, and the user’s role is allowed to access it. If a menu is missing, check those items before editing files or database settings.
